We work alongside the Town of Smithers, School District 54, Indigenous communities, local organizations, businesses, and regional partners to strengthen recreation opportunities and respond to shared priorities.

3. Improve Access to Spaces and Facilities

We advocate for accessible, affordable, and multi-use community spaces. We support the development, stewardship, and use of facilities that help people gather, move, learn, and connect.

4. Support Health, Inclusion, and Connection

We promote active living, lifelong participation, and low-barrier opportunities that help reduce isolation, strengthen belonging, and improve community well-being.

5. Grow Local Leadership and Capacity

We provide training, mentorship, and leadership opportunities for youth, volunteers, instructors, and community partners to help build a strong local recreation network.

6. Create Lasting Community Benefit

We reinvest grants, fundraising, partnerships, and community support into programs, equipment, facility improvements, and access initiatives while remaining accountable, transparent, and sustainable.
